Northcott

Tomorrow we (ME) will meet 2 O.T's from Northcott.

They will come to our place, to discuss what they think is what I am needing for my daily routine. Trouble is, I have another idea.

Last year we purchased a wheelchair from them (Northcott), Colours HAMMER court chair (As Northcott Classified it) trouble was, the chair was ex-demo (we where under the impression we would get one built for us), and then we payed them, but upon researching into the cost this year, it became apparent, that they actually overcharged.

Chair costs $3800 brand new (Spinlife website Dollars converted for US $), and as it was ex-demo it was already built, they charged us $5700. They also gave an additional wheelchair, for a sweetener I believe. (Top End Terminator)

I had requested Northcott, make repairs to the Invacare chair, new back rest, resit the seating, and replace the wheels with Invacare front forks and original wheels. Repair the brakes, all of which cost an additional $1200 on top of the $5700, plus a Roho Cushion, which for some reason I was not permitted to inflate it.

after the delivery, it became apparent that they never did any of the repairs, gave me a leakaged Roho Cushion.

I of course took it back, they only sewed the backrest, but never refunded the cost, replaced the $800 cushion with 2 $40 cushions, and gave me to front wheels from other chairs, without refund.

So I will be laying down the law tomorrow, they ripped us off, quite alot of money.

But one thing came out of it, this was when I first thought about my own wheelchair business. To imagine, I was actually as smart as those Guys over in the U.S making the sweetest rides I have ever seen.

the reason I chose Northcott, was so the money would go streight back to disability services, and not profit like when I thought about GTK rehab chairs. GTK are a rehab unit that sepcialises in O.T things like that, they also distribute other company wheelchairs, at an excreased price

Meriton

Well here we are again, almost three months since the leak in our apartment, we had previously contacted Meriton to repair it, with no response, amd still no response, now as we venture out into our Lift foyer, we notice that all the tiles have become apparently lifted from the floor.

I believe that Meriton, or better still Mr Harry Tricket, wont repair them, seems they sell off the remaining rental properties when to many repairs are needed.

so much has gone wrong with this Building in Rhodes, the incident where I sustained concussion, and now suffer from extreme headaches.

will they ever repair the faultss, or best still when will Meriton stoo cutting corners, and build apartments to Meet A.S,apartments that are built to last, not to just make quick cash
